Jean Michel Jarre’s Management have confirmed to JARRE UK today, the following details regarding the forthcoming ‘LIVE’ Broadcasts of Jean Michel Jarre’s Royal Wedding Concert, entitled ‘LIVE IN MONACO’, celebrating the marriage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco & his fiancée Charlene Wittstock, in Port Hercule (Hercules Port), Monaco, on Friday 1st July 2011.
The European Satellite & Cable Channel, Euronews (www.euronews.net) (Sky Channel 508/Virgin Media Channel 620/Freesat Channel 204), will broadcast the entire 2-Hours Concert ‘LIVE’ from 22:00 (10:00pm) (Local Time)/21:00 (9:00pm) (UK Time) as part of it’s ‘NO COMMENT LIVE’ Programme, with further reports of the preparations of the Concert, including interviews and rehearsals, being shown throughout next week from Wednesday 29th June 2011.

“An unprecedented event for the Principality of Monaco and the French Riviera, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and His fiancée Charlene Wittstock, on the occasion of their wedding, will host a large open-air concert conceived & performed by Jean Michel Jarre.
High-tech, glamorous and open-to-all, the concert will be held in Monaco’s landmark Port Hercules on the night of July 1st in presence of the newly-wed couple.
A stunning stage-set of 200m long will embrace the central stage on the port, and Jean Michel Jarre has designed a state-of-the-art show of lights, HD video effects, lasers and pyrotechnics - a high-tech visual extravaganza entirely synchronised to his music performed live on-stage.
The duration of the concert is 2 hours, commencing 10pm local-time and will be filmed by 18 cameras in HD and broadcast Live on EURONEWS and USTREAM.TV for Internet.”

as ‘MEMORIES & RARITIES’ on December 21st 2010, the NEW Compilation Album will feature a 15-Track CD of Greatest Hits, all formerly released on Francis Dreyfus Music’s Disques Dreyfus Label (1976-2002), and a 16-Track CD of Pre-’OXYGENE’ Rarities (1968-1973 & 2010), all specially selected by Jean Michel Jarre himself.
Although the ‘ESSENTIALS’ CD does not offer any new material, and strangely neglects Jean Michel Jarre’s highly successful ‘CHRONOLOGIE’ and ‘OXYGENE 7-13′ Albums, the ‘RARITIES’ CD does contain some very rare Tracks from Jean Michel Jarre’s Pre-’OXYGENE’ era, many that have only ever been officially released in limited quantities on Vinyl in the late 1960s and early 1970s, A-Side & B-Side Remixes of Jean Michel Jarre’s first ever Single ‘LA CAGE’ by the French Electronic Musician Vitalic (www.vitalic.org) from 2010, and the extremely rare, previously unreleased, and highly sought after Track ‘HAPPINESS IS A SAD SONG’ from 1968, full details of which are as follows:-
